The apartment centres on a light-filled living area. Two large glass doors open onto the terrace and the shared garden beyond. Inside, there is a comfortable sofa and armchair, with a large flat-screen TV. Towards the back of the room is a dining table and at the far end of the room there is a stylish, fitted kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, toaster, Nespresso machine and fridge/freezer.

The apartment has 2 cosy bedrooms which look out over the gardens. Each has a double bed. The master bedroom has a large wardrobe.

Location
The apartment is situated in a very quiet location, on the edge of the village of Sous les Bois, between Les Houches (5 minutes) and Chamonix (10 minutes). The Mont Blanc Express stops at Taconnaz station (2 minute drive), for free rail service in the Chamonix Valley, so visitors can easily explore the rest of the Chamonix area, all the way up to Mont Blanc.
The area has much to offer visitors of all ages. Apart from the beautiful, alpine hiking trails, there are many other activities in the area: mountain biking, mountaineering, white water rafting (Mont Blanc Rafting meeting point 2 minutes), tennis courts, swimming pools and for even more excitement there is the Addicted Adventure Park (6 minute drive).
For self-catering, there are many supermarkets and smaller shops which sell local specialities. The weekly market (Wednesday afternoon) at Le Pain de Chibon, in the village of Le Pont (2 minutes), allows visitors to buy directly from producers. Alternatively, Les Houches’s weekly market in Place Haute du Centre (5 minutes) takes place every Monday morning during the French school holidays.
Geneva Airport is 1 hour and 15 minutes away.
